I am a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle Labs. Prior to that, I finished my PhD in Computer Science at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) under the guidance of Babak Falsafi and Boris Grot.
While at EPFL, my research focused on improving performance and efficiency of server workloads (online services such as online transaction processing, web search, media streaming) on manycore server processors with a particular emphasis on server workload characterization, memory subsystem and cache hierarchy design, and prefetching.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science (2009-2015) Ecole Polytechnique de Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland
- B.S. in Computer Engineering (2005-2009) TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU) , Ankara, Turkey
Honors and Awards:
